1. About GNR Contracting

GNR Contracting provides building maintenance, facilities management, refurbishment, painting, plumbing, extensions, renovations and related contracting services across Perth and Western Australia.

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and, where applicable, our provision of services to customers.

2. Website Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use the website in any way that may damage, disable, overburden or interfere with the website or its operation.

You must not:

  • Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or systems
  • Copy, reproduce or distribute website content without permission
  • Introduce malicious software, viruses or harmful code
  • Use our website to collect information about other users without consent

3. Enquiries and Quotes

Information submitted through our website, including enquiry and quote requests, does not automatically create a contract between you and GNR Contracting.

Quotes and estimates provided by GNR Contracting are subject to the scope of work, materials, site conditions, availability and other relevant project requirements.

A project will only proceed once the relevant quotation, scope of work and other applicable terms have been accepted by both parties.

4. Scope of Work

The agreed scope of work will be based on the quotation, proposal, agreement or other documentation provided to the customer.

Changes to the agreed scope may result in additional costs, changes to completion dates or other adjustments. Additional work may require customer approval before commencement.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices for our services will be communicated through the applicable quotation, proposal or agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be made in accordance with the payment terms stated on the relevant invoice or agreement.

Additional charges may apply where unexpected site conditions, variations, additional materials, additional labour or other unforeseen requirements arise.

6. Variations

Customers may request changes or additions to the agreed scope of work. Such changes may affect the project cost and completion timeframe.

GNR Contracting may provide a variation quotation or written confirmation before carrying out additional work where reasonably practicable.

7. Project Timeframes

Any project completion date or timeframe provided by GNR Contracting is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Delays may occur due to factors outside our reasonable control, including weather, material availability, supplier delays, access restrictions, site conditions, regulatory requirements or other unforeseen events.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the project
  • Providing reasonable access to the property or worksite
  • Informing us of known site conditions or relevant restrictions
  • Obtaining approvals or permissions that are the customer's responsibility
  • Ensuring the worksite is reasonably accessible and safe where applicable
  • Making payments in accordance with agreed terms

9. Materials and Subcontractors

GNR Contracting may use suppliers, subcontractors and other qualified service providers where reasonably necessary to complete a project.

Materials used for a project will generally be selected according to the agreed scope, quotation and project requirements. Material availability may affect product selection or project timing.

10. Compliance and Safety

GNR Contracting aims to perform its services in accordance with applicable Australian laws, regulations, safety requirements and relevant industry standards.

Customers and other persons attending a worksite must comply with reasonable safety instructions and site requirements.

Cancellation of a service or project may be subject to the terms stated in the relevant quotation, agreement or booking confirmation.

Where cancellation results in costs already incurred by GNR Contracting, applicable charges may apply in accordance with the agreed terms and applicable law.

17. Force Majeure

GNR Contracting will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations where the delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, government actions, industrial disputes, supply shortages, transport disruptions, emergencies or other unforeseen events.
